It is the swing that defines the weekend: Aireontae Ersery in the Round 1 slot, a good 22 spots before the room expected him. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. That is a safety worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
