No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Steelers.

Somebody in pick No. 178 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Steelers sat still while Jacob Cowing, the No. 147 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

Reaching for Gore Jr. left real value on the table behind him. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Barton pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots still on the board.

The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
