The Raiders left with their quarterback, and a B- to match.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Raiders spent their marquee pick on Fernando Mendoza, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

The Rodriguez pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher, wide receiver and other spots still on the board. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They banked enough surplus on Dixon to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
