Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Cowboys spent the 189th overall pick on Thor Griffith, a name the board had a full 88 spots lower.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Paul Jr.. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
