Somebody in pick 156 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Steelers sat still while Tory Horton, the No. 108 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Reaching for Conerly Jr. left real value on the table behind him. Job largely done: quarterback settled and 5 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.
