The Jaguars torched the value chart for Khristian Boyd, taking him 27 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

Landing Milton that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
