T DRAFTING FOR THECardinals
Draft Selections
Draft Grade — Cardinals
Overall

FutureB-
A respectable, level-headed haul for the Cardinals: B-. Every other box got a look, but edge rusher did not. The Cardinals will head to camp with the same hole they walked in with. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.
Every board in the league had Milum lower, and that gap is the story. However the rest shakes out, Schwesinger at that price is a win they earned.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
Pick Analysis
Pick16
Rnd1
Wyatt Milum
In Round 1, Pick 16 they get protection for the quarterback, though the board says they badly overpaid. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick47
Rnd2
T.J. Sanders
T.J. Sanders at the 47th overall pick is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick78
Rnd3
Carson Schwesinger
Carson Schwesinger at pick No. 78 is money in the bank, a linebacker taken below his worth. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick115
Rnd4
Dillon Gabriel
The board had cheaper options than Dillon Gabriel at No. 115, and it noticed. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick152
Rnd5
Pat Bryant
Pat Bryant at slot 152 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick225
Rnd7
Alijah Huzzie
Alijah Huzzie is a better player than the 225th pick suggests; smart patience, rewarded. A minor need, but a need all the same.
