Draft Grade — Bills
Overall D-
ValueB NeedB+ TradesF FutureD+
A franchise passer in Daniels headlines a D- weekend for the Bills.

The phones were a trap the Bills kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. Too much went sideways, and the D- is the honest tally.

Jayden Daniels is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. The safety spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Pritchett falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, safety very much included.

Pick Analysis
Pick1 Rnd1 Marvin Harrison Jr.
In pick No. 1 they get a matchup problem out wide. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick4 Rnd1 Joe Alt
In the 4th overall pick they get an anchor for the offensive line at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick9 Rnd1 Jayden Daniels
In the Round 1 slot they get a franchise quarterback. A real need, handled.
Pick60 Rnd2 Adisa Isaac
A market-rate edge rusher, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Adisa Isaac. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick99 Rnd3 Tyler Davis
A reasonable price with a little left over, Tyler Davis in the 99th pick. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick129 Rnd4 Kris Abrams-Draine
Kris Abrams-Draine is a better player than No. 129 suggests; smart patience, rewarded. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick159 Rnd5 Edefuan Ulofoshio
A tidy little value on Edefuan Ulofoshio in slot 159, a step better than break-even. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick162 Rnd5 Nehemiah Pritchett
Nehemiah Pritchett in Round 5, Pick 26 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. Nice player, but the depth chart did not need him here.
