The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Sam Leavitt, pick 144, roughly 78 picks past where he belonged. Call it a C- and check back in two years.

The cost of the Williams Sr. reach is exactly the players who went right after him. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere.

The Steelers indulged a want in Green while a need in edge rusher, cornerback and other spots stayed open. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher.
