Norman-Lott should have been long gone. The 49ers pounced, and earned a B.

The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Omarr Norman-Lott, the Round 3 slot, roughly 28 picks past where he belonged. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

They will need Riley to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
