After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Bears committed. Michael Penix Jr. is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. Call it a C- and check back in two years.

Jean-Baptiste has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

It nets out as a middle-of-the-pack haul that neither helps nor hurts much.
