The search is over. The Commanders handed the keys to Drake Maye, and the whole operation now runs on his development. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up. Landing Guerendo that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with tight end the one that mattered most.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the wide receiver spot they never got to.
