The Lions cashed the board's mistake on McCoy: B.

Somebody in slot 208 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Lions sat still while Bru McCoy, the No. 187 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped safety, which is a strange place to end up. On the needs board they went 5 of 9, with cornerback the one that mattered most. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

Good work on the whole, with safety the one box left unchecked.
