Larceny in the Round 4 slot lands the Browns a B-, Trapilo and all.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Ozzy Trapilo tumbling to the Browns in the 104th overall pick is a gift they did not have to think twice about. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. On the needs board they went 4 of 9, with quarterback the one that mattered most. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.

Pick Analysis
Pick2 Rnd1 Ashton Jeanty
In the Round 1 slot they get a centerpiece for the ground game. A real need, handled.
Pick33 Rnd2 Jaxson Dart
Jaxson Dart at pick No. 33 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick67 Rnd3 Jalen Royals
A reasonable price with a little left over, Jalen Royals in pick 67. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick94 Rnd3 Savion Williams
A clean, defensible pick in No. 94 with a little surplus value in Savion Williams. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick104 Rnd4 Ozzy Trapilo
Taking Ozzy Trapilo in slot 104 is close to grand larceny; an offensive lineman that good had no business lasting this long. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
