The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The 49ers watched Jihaad Campbell slide 40 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The 49ers clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
