The Raiders left with their quarterback, and a D to match.

The Raiders spent real capital to be 51 picks early on Roman Hemby, and the board is going to hold them to it. The process wobbled, and the D is where it lands.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. The whole projection now runs through Fernando Mendoza; hit there and everything else looks smarter.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. On value alone, Styles makes the weekend a net positive.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
