There is reaching, and then there is Garrett Dellinger at the 233rd overall pick. The Bears jumped the board by 67 and dared it to prove them wrong. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Emmanwori at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

They will regret leaving linebacker for another day if the season turns on it. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

Good work on the whole, with linebacker the one box left unchecked.
