Best value of the weekend goes to the Panthers for McCormick: B.

Somebody in pick No. 178 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Panthers sat still while Mason McCormick, the No. 146 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

For all the activity, linebacker went untouched, which is hard to explain. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but linebacker.
