The Panthers looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took CJ West at the Round 4 slot regardless, 84 picks early.

That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
