Every other box got a look, but safety did not. The Patriots will head to camp with the same hole they walked in with.

They are betting Wilson proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
