Larceny in Round 5, Pick 2 lands the Patriots a B-, Ward and all.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Cam Ward tumbling to the Patriots in the 130th pick is a gift they did not have to think twice about. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
