A costly weekend of dealing drags the Eagles to a D-.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Eagles reached some 62 spots for Hayden Conner, and value like that does not grow back. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D-.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They banked enough surplus on Wilson to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.

In the Round 1 slot they get a difference-maker at receiver, outstanding value to boot. Exactly the need they had to hit.
