A sensible, unshowy class lands the Eagles a B-.

Nobody else had Jalen Travis anywhere near the 168th overall pick. The Eagles did, by 121 spots, and that gap is the whole story. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They banked enough surplus on Emmanwori to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.
