The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Steelers reached some 55 spots for Ahmed Hassanein, and value like that does not grow back. For now it grades a C, with the swing picks left to settle the rest.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. They banked enough surplus on Brooks to cover a lot of smaller sins.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through safety.

If Kenneth Grant and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
