A costly weekend of dealing drags the Ravens to a D.

The tape said wait; the Ravens did not. Phillip Webb went at the 243rd overall pick, a good 106 picks before the board was ready. The process wobbled, and the D is where it lands.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. The Borregales pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at running back and quarterback. That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, running back very much included.
