Start where it matters. The Raiders took Fernando Mendoza to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one.

Reaching for Nowakowski left real value on the table behind him. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Igbinosun pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.
