The Bears did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Ro Torrence fell into the 234th overall pick.

Solomon has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. It is not that Solomon is a bad player; it is that the Bears had louder needs to answer first.

Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Bottom line, with Dallas Turner leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
