After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Browns committed. Drew Allar is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

They banked enough surplus on Mahlman to cover a lot of smaller sins. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
