Draft Grade — Packers
Overall B
ValueB NeedB TradesB+ FutureB-
The steal of the weekend belongs to the Packers and McGlothern: B.

When a board-topper like Dwight McGlothern slides to pick 216, you do not overthink it, and the Packers did not. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

The Logue reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Pick Analysis
Pick37 Rnd2 Ladd McConkey
They did well to land Ladd McConkey in pick No. 37, just ahead of his grade. It fills a real need, too.
Pick41 Rnd2 Chris Braswell
They paid sticker price for Chris Braswell in the Round 2 slot, and that is fine. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick58 Rnd2 Tyler Nubin
A top-tier safety at a bargain, Tyler Nubin in the 58th overall pick, plain and simple. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick88 Rnd3 Cade Stover
Cade Stover in pick 88 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick91 Rnd3 Blake Corum
Blake Corum at Round 3, Pick 28 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the running back. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick106 Rnd4 Khyree Jackson
The board fumbled Khyree Jackson all the way to the 106th pick, and they scooped it up. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick127 Rnd4 Mekhi Wingo
They read the board right and Mekhi Wingo was the payoff at slot 127. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick168 Rnd5 Malik Mustapha
Malik Mustapha at No. 168 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. A want more than a need, though you can never have too many.
Pick204 Rnd6 Caedan Wallace
Caedan Wallace at pick No. 204 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick216 Rnd6 Dwight McGlothern
They robbed the room for Dwight McGlothern here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick243 Rnd7 Brevyn Spann-Ford
A clean, defensible pick in the Round 7 slot with a little surplus value in Brevyn Spann-Ford. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick251 Rnd7 Zion Logue
Zion Logue in the 251st pick is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
