A solid, sensible weekend for the Rams: B.

The needs board said one thing and the Rams did another, using No. 92 on Maason Smith while quarterback, tight end and other spots waited. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. The cost of the Booker reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

The Colson pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
