The Rams did not so much draft Jordan Toles as overpay for him, 61 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend.

The Hopper pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The wide receiver spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Safety is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
