The Raiders did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Carson Beck fell into the 89th overall pick.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. Every board in the league had Zuhn III lower, and that gap is the story. They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.
