Williams is the plan now, and the Commanders grade out a B-.

Start where it matters. The Commanders took Caleb Williams to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

The Commanders indulged a want in Knight while a need in wide receiver, tight end and other spots stayed open. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up.

They will need Knight to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
