The 49ers got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the B-.

Nobody had Brady Cook this high, and it is not close. The 49ers reached 37 spots to get him at Round 7, Pick 36. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Walker. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up.

The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.

Good work on the whole, with tight end the one box left unchecked.
