Nobody had Chase Bisontis this high, and it is not close. The 49ers reached 38 spots to get him at the 90th pick.

A whole weekend of picks and running back is somehow still a want. Johnson falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
