You can draft well and still miss the point. The Colts did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to wide receiver, which was the need that mattered most. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.
The roster is better shaped than it was, with tight end chief among the fixes. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
