The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The 49ers watched Lathan Ransom slide 53 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

The cost of the Ersery reach is exactly the players who went right after him. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback.

They went 6 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
