You build a draft on nights like this. Carson Schwesinger had no business being available in No. 158, and the Chargers did the only sane thing and turned in the card. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

Every board in the league had Webb lower, and that gap is the story. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
