Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Darius Alexander got past him. The 49ers do not have to explain a thing at the 113th overall pick. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

Parrish has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
