After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Saints committed. Jayden Daniels is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

However the rest shakes out, Goncalves at that price is a win they earned. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through cornerback.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
