RF4916 DRAFTING FOR THERavens

Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall

FutureB-
No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Ravens. Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Ravens spent the Round 7 slot on Khalid Duke, a name the board had a full 63 spots lower. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.
They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. The Abrams-Draine steal is the beam this whole class leans on.
On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with cornerback the one that mattered most. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
Pick Analysis
Pick30
Rnd1
Jordan Morgan
In pick No. 30 they get an anchor for the offensive line. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick62
Rnd2
Bralen Trice
A straight-up fair deal on Bralen Trice at Round 2, Pick 30, value and slot in agreement. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick93
Rnd3
Kris Abrams-Draine
A quiet steal in the Round 3 slot: Kris Abrams-Draine for less than the market said. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick113
Rnd4
Johnny Wilson
A reach on Johnny Wilson in the 113th overall pick; the board had better options right there. The roster fit checks out.
Pick130
Rnd4
Christian Jones
They took Christian Jones at par in pick 130, which is nothing to complain about. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick165
Rnd5
Tykee Smith
Tykee Smith in No. 165 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick218
Rnd6
Trevin Wallace
They went early on Trevin Wallace in Round 6, Pick 43, and the value did not follow. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick228
Rnd7
Khalid Duke
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Khalid Duke well ahead of where he belonged. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick250
Rnd7
Blake Watson
A real head-scratcher, Blake Watson in the 250th overall pick is miles ahead of his ranking. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
