Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall B-
ValueC+ NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
A respectable, level-headed haul for the Ravens: B-.

You can draft well and still miss the point. The Ravens did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to interior defensive lineman, which was the need that mattered most. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

Kamara has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.

Pick Analysis
Pick30 Rnd1 Adonai Mitchell
In the 30th overall pick they get a matchup problem out wide. A real need, handled.
Pick62 Rnd2 Kingsley Suamataia
Kingsley Suamataia at the 62nd pick is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick93 Rnd3 Khyree Jackson
No drama and no debate, Khyree Jackson went about where he belonged in Round 3, Pick 30. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick113 Rnd4 Mohamed Kamara
They reached into another round for Mohamed Kamara, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. The roster fit checks out.
Pick130 Rnd4 Mason McCormick
A conviction pick on Mason McCormick at the Round 4 slot that the board grades a round light. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick165 Rnd5 Tykee Smith
A reasonable price with a little left over, Tykee Smith in No. 165. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick218 Rnd6 Edefuan Ulofoshio
Edefuan Ulofoshio at pick 218 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick228 Rnd7 Frank Gore Jr.
They paid sticker price for Frank Gore Jr. in slot 228, and that is fine. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick250 Rnd7 Marcellas Dial
Marcellas Dial in No. 250 lands just on the right side of the ledger. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
