Somebody in the Round 4 slot was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Falcons sat still while CJ Allen, the No. 31 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

They punted on offensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The cost of the Thompson reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They were the ones paying the moving tax this weekend.

Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 3 of 8 of the wish list covered.
