If confidence were a draft strategy, the Bears would have aced it. Roderick Kearney at No. 80 is 51 spots clear of where he belonged.

The Barnes pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. A whole weekend of picks and linebacker is somehow still a want.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
