Sabb should have been long gone. The Steelers pounced, and earned a B-.

The curious call sets the tone. With quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots still glaring, the Steelers used Round 3, Pick 23 on Jaeden Roberts, an offensive lineman they were not exactly short of. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Sabb steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.

A straight-up fair deal on Kyle Monangai at No. 119, value and slot in agreement. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.

The board fumbled Keon Sabb all the way to Round 5, Pick 22, and they scooped it up. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick151 Rnd5 Maxwell Hairston
They read the board right and Maxwell Hairston was the payoff at the 151st pick. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.

A market-rate edge rusher, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Josaiah Stewart. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
