Ransom should have been long gone. The Steelers pounced, and earned a B+.

The real work happened on the phones. The Steelers fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.

On value alone, Ransom makes the weekend a net positive. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Shough has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
