Draft Grade — Titans
Overall

The steal of the weekend belongs to the Titans and Briningstool: B. Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Titans were there to profit. Jake Briningstool, the No. 77 name on the board, should have been long gone before Round 7, Pick 7. The bottom line is a respectable B.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through offensive lineman. They left with interior defensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but offensive lineman.
Pick Analysis
Pick7
Rnd1
Will Johnson
A reasonable price with a little left over, Will Johnson in the 7th pick. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick39
Rnd2
Quinn Ewers
Quinn Ewers at the Round 2 slot is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick71
Rnd3
Kenneth Grant
They barely believed it either: Kenneth Grant still on the board at pick 71. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick103
Rnd4
Tre Harris
Steal is underselling it; Tre Harris at pick No. 103 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick135
Rnd5
Sebastian Castro
Somehow Sebastian Castro was still sitting there in Round 5, Pick 7, and they pounced on premier safety value. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick167
Rnd6
Jason Henderson
Jason Henderson in slot 167 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick199
Rnd7
Jake Briningstool
Jake Briningstool in No. 199 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
