The Titans finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a B.

Thirty-one other rooms let Jaylin Noel slide, and the Titans were the ones holding the card at Round 5, Pick 29. Highway robbery.

Whatever Shedeur Sanders becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. The cost of the Cross III reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The trades cost them a sliver of value they did not need to spend.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.

Pick Analysis
Pick3 Rnd1 Shedeur Sanders
In pick 3 they get the arm they will build around. A real need, handled.
Pick34 Rnd2 Luther Burden III
A top-tier wide receiver at a bargain, Luther Burden III in the 34th overall pick, plain and simple. It fills a real need, too.
Pick35 Rnd2 Nick Emmanwori
Nick Emmanwori slipping to the 35th overall pick is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick102 Rnd4 Denzel Burke
Nice patience on Denzel Burke, who had no business lasting to pick 102. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick119 Rnd4 Cam Skattebo
Cam Skattebo in slot 119 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick142 Rnd5 Jake Majors
Circle this one: Jake Majors at the Round 5 slot is a fall that decides a draft. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick168 Rnd5 Jaylin Noel
Steal is underselling it; Jaylin Noel at No. 168 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick180 Rnd6 Howard Cross III
Howard Cross III at Round 6, Pick 2 is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick241 Rnd7 Jay Higgins
They will replay Jay Higgins at pick No. 241 for years; that is how good the value is. The roster fit checks out.
