The Broncos let Dart fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

The Broncos spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Jaxson Dart, the No. 58 name on the board, in pick 210. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with linebacker chief among the fixes.

Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.
