The Falcons ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

Getting Davis where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They are betting Greenfield proves the room right and everyone else wrong. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
